Project completed
Preparations for the 2026 camp closed for the year. Taking part carries no mandatory cost — since 2026 the camp asks only a voluntary contribution, and it is all-inclusive: food, accommodation and every activity.

No one else on my street
A parent whose child grew up knowing no one else with a parent with dementia describes meeting other families at camp for the first time, while guest speakers and trained staff run parallel conversations for the parents.

Activity programme confirmed
Four days of canoeing, climbing, archery, swimming, paddleboarding, crafts and circus skills are booked for the 13–16 August 2026 camp.

Camp site and safari tents booked
The 2026 camp site at Kanoa Outdoor Events in Wolphaartsdijk, Zeeland is booked, with a safari tent reserved for each family so parent and child sleep together.
