Namibia Training Facilities
Stichting OpenCharities Foundation
Vetted OpenCharities projectAbout this initiative
Dementia is still widely misunderstood in Namibia, and families often care for relatives without any support or training. This initiative develops a practical care curriculum with local health workers and runs training cohorts for family and community caregivers, so that people living with dementia are met with understanding instead of stigma.
